I have a Master in Clinical and Industrial Psychology at the Free University of Brussels (ULB). This was completed by an Executive Master in Management at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
Having completed these courses, I then started on a long and varied professional career.
I started as a consultant, providing support to individuals and then moved to Human Resources in international environnement
This enabled me to travel and meet children, men and women of all origins and religions, each with their own unique story according to their birth, their country, their family or their inter generational experiences. I have always been fascinated by the complexity of an international environment, the cultural diversity and the impact it can have on organisations and on our environment.
This professional experience was supplemented by other psychotherapeutic intervention tools:
These trainings in Strategic therapies, Hypnosis and EMDR enabled me to learn how to use support tools which can be extraordinary if they are used conscientiously.
These techniques brought about a fundamental change in my understanding and my approach to the disorders reported by patients.
I am having continual training in these disciplines. Out of an ethical commitment to my patients, I am also pursuing a long personal journey as well as undergoing regular supervisions by colleagues.
As a psychologist-psychotherapist I work to alleviate personal, relationship and family problems: anxiety, grief, depression, stress, trauma, physical pain, addictions, professional stress and "burn-out", etc.
I welcome adults and adolescents.
I am officially registered with the Belgian Commission of Psychologists and my working languages are French and English.
